Polycom implemented e-learning because it allowed for a more cost effective way to support their resellers and a easier way to get consistent training to their internal staff.

Polycom purchased WBT Manager™ in June of 2000 and went live with their e-learning solution in August of the same year. They have approximately 5000 registered students that include both resellers, distributors and internal staff. Students access training over the Internet.

The courses were developed in Authorware as well as Polycom proprietary StreamStation and contain various combinations of text, graphics, sound, and quizzes.
